I had originally intended the Better, but Where? series to be a two-parter. That was before I really dug into the numbers on the inside linebackers. The decline in performance at both of those positions is just too glaring to fold into a look at the overall defense.

Under that scenario, Dax would be the current starter at Mike and Alan Tisdale would be starting at Will. How would that change the results we have seen in 2023?
